Mission
FANM in Action's mission is to work toward an inclusive, equitable, and just society for all. We train, educate, organize and mobilize grassroots citizens from the bottom up. We give them the tools to contribute to their own transformation, enfranchisement, and liberation. We encourage individual participation by citizens in political decisions and policies that impact their lives.
Vision
FANM in Action strives to create opportunities for all members of a population to make meaningful contributions to decision-making. We work toward participatory democracy.
Long Term Building Power
FANM in Action has been catalytic and continues in developing a statewide alignment movement with other high capacity partners towards a long-term vision of governance. Starting with local- and county-based theories of change, a key aspect is expanding the non-partisan civic engagement continuum to increase the representation of our community through strategic naturalization, voter registration, get out the vote activities as well as candidate cultivation and cultural education.
